Nippers Rescue Tourists at Queensie

A huge congratulations and thanks to two of our U13 nippers - Nick Townsend and Mac House - who, during board training on Saturday 17 October, noticed two Japanese tourists were in trouble in the water. The boys paddled to the tourists and pulled them onto their nipper boards to offer much needed relief from treading water and potentially drowning. Realising they could not take the tourists into the beach on their boards, the boys did the right thing in signalling the lifesavers on patrol, who then assisted the tourists into shore.
Job well done boys, Go Queensie!
