About Greenwood Early Learning Centres

Greenwood Early Education Centres’ homes on the Northern Beaches are the perfect locations for your child to begin their educational journey. Greenwood Brookvale and Greenwood Frenchs Forest both emphasise the importance of shaping the next generation, helping create worldly, educated and kind personalities.

Designed to give children from six weeks to 6 years the confidence to explore their own unique talents, Greenwood will expose your child to a rich and stimulating learning environment where they will feel loved and supported.

The outdoor play areas of Greenwood Brookvale and Frenchs Forest are designed to inspire imaginative play and learning in a natural environment. Equipped with rainbow bike tracks to scoot around on, specially designed cubby houses, sandpits, jumping pillows and fruit, vegetable and herb gardens children can explore their natural curiosities in a warm and comforting learning environment.

With a chef preparing fresh meals onsite daily, the four week rotating menu designed by Greenwood’s Paediatric Nutritionist can be tailored to each individual child if they are reluctant to eat or have a dietary requirement. The learning and exploration that spurs from a connection with the physical environment is invaluable at any age, which sees Greenwood children tending to their gardens to supplement ingredients for the Greenwood kitchen.

Facilitated through a combination of play based and structured learning Greenwood’s specialised G–Learning Curriculum, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework is designed to address 6 key learning areas in child development:

-          G Me: Building resilience, social and emotional skills

-          G Knowledge: Numeracy and Literacy

-          G Talent: Creative Arts, Music and Language

-          G Active: Physical Development and Health

-          G Whiz: Science and Technology

-          G Earth: Exploration of the natural world

Greenwood’s rotational extra-curricular programs make any parent envious of their child’s day. From Yoga and Sport Programs to French, Music and working alongside Greenwood’s resident Urban Farmer & Environmental Educator to transform their Greenwood playground into an edible outdoor classroom, the opportunities are endless for a growing mind.

An integral part of this Curriculum is G Local.  Focusing solely on the importance of communities and their role in the life of a child, Greenwood children are taught the necessity of giving back to and being a part of their own communities. Greenwood Frenchs Forest and Greenwood Brookvale are both over the moon about their sponsorship of Queenscliff SLSC, and cannot wait to witness the club’s continued success as an integral part of a brilliant community.
