NEW NIPPERS & MEMBER FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO BECOME A MEMBER OF QUEENSCLIFF SLSC.
Step 1.
You have to join up through SLS Australia and create an online account. (If you have been a member of a Surf CLub previously at any time in your life we have to create a transfer – please let us know prior to signing up – email admin@queenscliffslsc.org.au)

Select Surf Life Saving Club and then find Queenscliff SLSC
You can create individual accounts or create a family group.
Please note a parent must become a member with a Nipper.

Select the:

Complete details for each new member.
Fee Section
For 2 New members (1 Nipper $150 and 1 Parent $150 = $300)
Select Associate/Nipper Parent Membership Fee (unless you are an active patrolling member) $150
Select Junior Activity Member $150.
For 3+ New members (2 or more Nippers and 1 or 2 Parents = $340)
In the Select $340 Other – Family Group – 3+
Then for each other member select – $0.00 Other included in Family Group
You will come to Add On Fees – just click Next (unless you wish to pay the Non-Volunteering Fee or pay Competition Fees).
RE – Volunteering – we ask all Queensie members to give us a hand on Sunday mornings, there are a lot of Nippers on the beach so we need all hands on deck to make it work.
There is a Signup Sheet on our Website which will become available closer to the season and we ask that you complete 3 sessions per Season if you have 1 Nipper or 6 Sessions if you have 2 or more.
Volunteering can be in the form of helping with Beach Setup/Packup, Helping Age Managers organise Nippers or Working on the BBQ. It’s easy and a great way to meet other members and become involved.
You will then end up at the payment page.
Step 2.
Please complete this form.
Proficiency refers to a swim evaluation the children need to complete once they are U8s and up. It is a pre-season pool swim that we need kids to do before Nippers starts to check on their swim competency. we do not teach swimming at Nippers.
Volunteering agreement is as explained above.
Once these two steps are complete your membership will be processed by the Q office.
Your Queensie membership with SLS gives you automatic entry into our Nippers program. You will then go into our database and you will receive comms regarding the upcoming season once it gets closer.
