Mark Creighton Rescue of the Month SNB October 2020

On 17 October Mark Creighton performed an amazing rescue in a messy sea with big surging waves where a man swimming was caught in a rip about 250m out and needed immediate help.  Mark paddled out to the man, placed him on the front of the board and paddled him safely back to shore. Mark made it look so easy and we know it wasn’t.  It was a long arduous paddle out and even longer back.

We’re proud to say that Mark Creighton has been recognised with the Rescue of the Month Award for Sydney Northern Beaches.  Congratulations Mark.  That’s what it’s all about.
