It was a huge weekend just gone and although the weather gods were not completely on our side for the weekend, we were able to deliver a full sand program and restricted water programs across Shelly Beach and Collaroy. It was amazing to see all members come together and adapt to changes so well. This ensured our future surf lifesavers were able to compete and show their skills that they have been working on all season. Collaroy put on some challenging surf conditions and the kids loved every minute of it.
This week will see Queensie hosting the NSW State Titles for Masters (Wednesday and Thursday) and Opens and Boats (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for the final time. Looking at both the weather and surf forecasts, we are in for stunning conditions. So come on down to either volunteer or to spectate as it is sure to be an amazing few days at Queensie.
The Volunteer thank you party will kick off alongside Summer Sessions on Sunday afternoon. It is set to be one of the biggest Summer Session of the year so come down.
